beautiful twilight colors over the ice beach… through enough visits here ive seen all including dancing auroras… now if there is lightning or mammatus clouds over the sea that would be wicked.

btw, congrats to the people of cleveland for winning the nba title. still love and respect for the 73-10 warriors, steph and klay.

Iceland, ended a great tour with new found friends with THOR Photography run by http://ift.tt/161CjZy, will be uploading some “not so usual shots” at least from the way I used to shoot the locations on our tours. Changing things it a bit!

This was taken handheld 6 inches off the ground on a pc of Ice submerged on the shoreline, had to do this very quick as one wave coming in would push this ice towards me which would basically be the end of me and my gear. Hope you like it!!!

take from the Ice Beach moving just a couple of feet in between shots, this is I think where I turned around for a quick sec and my gear smashed on the ice… clumsy… 😀

I had the chance to visit Mt Rainier a couple of times this year and especially in the last month. From my house I can see weather patterns above the mountain and especially lenticular clouds which are pretty amazing to see in person. Mount Rainier because of its size has its own weather patterns which cause these clouds. Anyways, I wrote an article on the reasons why Mt Rainier is my favorite place to shoot fall colors..

small fragments on the beach had to go low and try to escape once a big one comes in to swallow all my gear, I was shooting 3x on the beach with no waders on and almost had a fever 2 days after.
